I’m marginally curious as to what market this Starbucks is supposed to be in. Even if they were both venti’s, in the most expensive area, I’ve only seen a cappuccino come to around $3.80. Add in the .60 cent syrup and you get $4.40. Multiply that by two and it’s $8.80. Now take into consideration that my prices are current. Since I can see the Verismo espresso machines in the background, which were replaced across the board by the newer Mastrenas in 2008, there’s bound to be a certain amount of deflation to that final price.
